[ fun with architecture ]

I hope to never settle in life. This holds true with my photography skills, as well. A good friend of mine was kind enough to invite me to photograph some projects he has been involved in recently and helped push me out of that comfort zone. Previously, I have taken for the granted the ability to ask people to move in certain ways and pose them in others. When capturing an environment, it is not a simple click of the shutter… You must accept the challenge of capturing its shapes, its leading lines, its texture, its lighting, its mood, and its collective message. It is hard. But in a good way.

All rambling aside, I am excited to test my limits and learn new techniques.

I am more excited to see all the cool places my favorite people are going and all the great things they are accomplishing.
